A Cold Feeling

A cold feeling
As numbness attempts to invade the heart
Perfect love feels distant
As if fading to black
Is this reality
Or some twisted fantasy

Are eyes open or closed
Rapturous chaos
Madness ensues
White noise like a swirling hurricane
Envelopes, overwhelms the senses
And then stop
.
.
Quiet

The search for hope begins anew

Confusion remains, as to what that even was

The only thing that remains, clearly

Is the light

And that light

Even Me

Sometimes I wonder if deep inside I fear writing today?

Worried, in case it sparks the restlessness,

Bringing back the struggle to accept normal, or reality, or sanity

Or whatever it is that I’ve wrestled with, that seems now to be gone

In order to know the light, you must know darkness

As there is no darkness without light

If you don’t know the darkness, how will you know what is light?

However knowing the darkness does not mean accepting it

Nor does it mean living in it

Why do we look at others and admire their gifts longingly?

Yet question whether we have worth or talent ourselves?

We all have our light

We are all unique, special in our own way

Even you, even me 🙂

Light Of The World

Light of the world

Burn inside my soul

Kindle deeper love

Draw me closer still

May my consciousness

Be overloaded by Your presence

May the thought of You, direct all that I do

Let me be consumed by the fire of Your love

Holy Jesus, may your glorious name

Be reflected evermore in who I am

Take me, mold me, grow me

I am yours & You are the Light of the world

Freedom?

You use religion as an excuse

A crutch

To pedal your hate

Your hate is from no god

Hate is pure evil

From the depths of darkness

Your pain, whatever internal conflict that troubles you

Is no reason to give pain to others.

I pray that you would find light

I pray that you would know peace, true peace

Hate will only fuel your darkness

Light will quench your darkness

Light will set you free

From the prison of ignorance

I believe in freedom of speech

Freedom of religion

Freedom of choice

Obviously with every choice you have to be willing to live with the consequences

Freedom is often misunderstood

Freedom is not the right to do anything

It is the right to make your choices

Freedom is accepting the responsibility of choice

If you consciously choose to oppress others

To cause pain, grief, discomfort or death

You are not living in freedom

You are opposing the very thing that freedom is

Peace, love & harmony my friends

May the light find you, may your days be filled with joy
